The invention discloses a closure structure of a rigid landfill and a construction method, the rigid landfill comprises a plurality of landfill units, and each landfill unit is filled with a landfill pile body. The closure structure comprises a flexible anti-seepage structure, a middle drainage layer and a rigid anti-seepage structure which are sequentially arranged on a landfill pile body. The flexible anti-seepage structure comprises an under-membrane protection layer and a sealing anti-seepage layer which are sequentially arranged from bottom to top, the under-membrane protection layer is connected with the side wall protection layer of the landfill unit, and the sealing anti-seepage layer is connected with the side wall anti-seepage layer of the landfill unit. The mode that the rigid anti-seepage structure and the flexible anti-seepage structure are combined is adopted, the requirement for a rigid landfill closure structure in the new standard can be met, and meanwhile rainwater permeating into top concrete can be collected, guided and drained. The problem of instability of a top concrete structure caused by heap settlement is avoided, and the long-term stability of the closure structure is improved.
