The invention relates to the technical field of ceramic materials, in particular to a rare earth element-containing silicon nitride ceramic material with high thermal conductivity and high toughness, and a preparation method of the silicon nitride ceramic material. According to the invention, a rare earth metal is added to replace part of rare earth oxide in composite powder, and the rare earth metal as an oxygen reducing agent can reduce oxygen elements introduced by a sintering aid and capture oxygen impurities in the silicon nitride powder so as to significantly improve the sintering behavior, so that the heat conductivity, strength and fracture toughness of silicon nitride are improved, and the silicon nitride ceramic material with high thermal conductivity and high toughness is prepared.
本发明涉及陶瓷材料技术领域,具体为一种含稀土元素的具有高热导、高强韧的氮化硅陶瓷材料,以及该种氮化硅陶瓷材料的制备方法。本发明通过添加稀土金属来代替复合粉体中的部分稀土氧化物,稀土金属作为减氧剂,可减少烧结助剂引入的氧元素并且捕获氮化硅粉体中的氧杂质,从而明显改进烧结行为,使氮化硅热导率和强度与断裂韧性得到提升,制备高热导、高强韧的氮化硅陶瓷材料。
