The automobile engine hood lock opening mechanism comprises an engine hood lock assembly and an opening mechanism assembly arranged on the front side of the engine hood lock assembly; the engine hood lock assembly comprises a first connecting seat, a lock hook hinged to the first connecting seat through a hinge structure with a hinge axis extending in the front-back direction and a hook-shaped part arranged on the lock hook, the lock hook can rotate around the hinge axis in a first direction or a second direction opposite to the first direction, and the hook-shaped part is arranged in the first direction; and the opening mechanism assembly comprises a second connecting seat and a sliding piece which is connected to the second connecting seat in the mode that the sliding piece can slide in the front-back direction, the sliding piece is provided with a pushing piece extending backwards, and the rear end part of the pushing piece is provided with an inclined face used for pushing the lock hook to rotate in the second direction when the sliding piece slides backwards. According to the automobile engine hood lock opening mechanism, a second lock can be unlocked outside an engine hood, operation is convenient, and a conventional unlocking handle is omitted, o that the space requirement is reduced.
