The invention relates to a tailing pond intercepting ditch and a tailing pond intercepting system. The tailing pond intercepting ditch comprises an intercepting ditch platform, a first slope, a second slope and a drainage pipe, the intercepting ditch platform is provided with a mounting groove, the lower edge of the first slope is connected with the intercepting ditch platform, the upper edge of the second slope is connected with the intercepting ditch platform, the drainage pipe is arranged in the mounting groove, a first part of the drainage pipe is upwards exposed out of the mounting groove, and a water inlet is formed in the part, opposite to the first slope, of the first part of the drainage pipe. Compared with an intercepting ditch adopting concrete or grouted rubble, the tailing pond intercepting ditch is high in construction speed and convenient to install under the condition that the requirement of tailing pond drainage is met, and in the actual use process, due to the fact that the drainage pipe is adopted as a main body of the tailing pond intercepting ditch, the drainage pipe is not prone to being blocked through protection of the peripheral wall of the drainage pipe.
