The invention discloses a laying method of a wide-width waterproof plate for a cover and excavation top-down subway station. The method comprises the following steps of excavating a first-layer soil body, spraying concrete on a first-layer hanging net, performing leveling, pre-burying a bearing part pin hole, calibrating a laying base line, laying a first-layer geotechnical cloth, laying a first-layer waterproof coiled material, installing a bearing component, placing the rest waterproof coiled material, performing cover plate formwork erection, pouring concrete, pouring cover plate concrete, removing a formwork and performing backfilling; and excavating a second-layer soil body, performing leveling, pre-burying a bearing pin hole, calibrating a laying base line, laying a second-layer geotechnical cloth, laying a second-layer waterproof coiled material, installing a bearing component, placing the rest waterproof coiled material, performing middle partition plate and side wall formwork erection, pouring middle partition plate and side wall concrete, removing a formwork, performing bottom plate formwork erection, pouring bottom plate concrete, removing a formwork and the like. By improving the construction steps and using the specially designed waterproof coiled material bearing components, the single-time laying area of the waterproof coiled material is effectively increased, the number of lap joints is reduced, the placement at any time at the stopping moment and the taking at any time at the use moment are achieved, and the construction efficiency is obviously improved.
