The invention discloses a plate-first and wall-second construction method for a cover-excavation top-down subway station, which optimizes and adjusts the traditional cover-excavation top-down construction process, greatly shortens the construction period, opens traffic as soon as possible, reduces the influence on ground traffic, and effectively overcomes the technical problem of serious water leakage at the construction joint of the traditional cover-excavation top-down station. Comprising the following steps: constructing an enclosure structure, a middle pile and a middle stand column from the ground surface; a top plate structure is constructed, reserved soil outlet holes are formed in the top plate structure, and backfill soil except the reserved soil outlet holes is constructed on the top face of the top plate structure; a next layer of soil body is excavated from the reserved soil outlet holes, a middle plate structure is constructed layer by layer, reserved soil outlet holes are formed in the middle plate structure, the middle plate structure is connected with the enclosure structure through embedded steel bars, and vertical steel pipes are longitudinally embedded in the range of the side wall of the station at intervals; excavating the lowermost soil body, and constructing a bottom plate structure; shield hoisting and launching are conducted, and meanwhile station side wall construction is conducted from bottom to top; and after shield construction of the side wall and the interval of the station is completed, the reserved soil outlets are sealed.
