Compared with the prior art, the laying device of the soil retaining building blocks further comprise a moving rail surrounding the edge of a laying base of the soil retaining wall and limiting the displacement position of the laying device, a moving module driving the laying device to move on the moving rail, a moving module communicating with the placing area and is used for clamping the building blocks and further moving and laying the building blocks, a feeding module used for placing plastic bars and broken stones in open holes formed in the building blocks so as to realize matching and fixing among the building blocks, and a control device electrically connected and used for further controlling electric elements in the laying device. According to the laying device, automatic and efficient laying of the soil retaining building blocks is achieved through automatic laying of the soil retaining building blocks and highly coordinated and matching feeding of the plastic rods and gravel raw materials, and manual labor consumption of laying of the soil retaining building blocks is effectively reduced.
