The overground wheel disc type stereo garage comprises an overground parking supporting building body, a waiting hall, a plurality of parking layers, a maintenance well and two lifting wells; the parking layers, the maintenance well and the two lifting wells are arranged in the parking supporting building body; the plurality of parking layers are sequentially constructed upwardly on the basis of a transfer base layer; 1-2 storage layers are sequentially constructed downwardly on the basis of the transfer base layer; the maintenance well is located in the center of the transfer base layer; the two lifting wells are located on the left side and the right side of the maintenance well in a symmetrical mode; the two lifting wells divide a transfer parking well into two equal half transfer parking wells; a plurality of buffering parking spaces are evenly distributed in each half transfer parking well with the maintenance well as the center; a semi-arc-shaped track is laid with the maintenance well as the center; and a movable balance car is arranged at the position, corresponding to each buffer parking space on the semi-arc track. The stereo garage can satisfy a parking lot building scheme where the occupied area is small, the number of parking spaces is large, the space utilization rate is high, the vehicle parking and picking-up efficiency is high, and influences on traffic and the surrounding environment are small.
