According to the method for preparing the surface layer gypsum mortar, when two groups of raw materials are mixed and stirred, a rotary stirring mode in the anticlockwise direction and then in the clockwise direction is adopted, so that the raw material mixing speed is increased to the maximum extent, the raw material mixing degree of the gypsum mortar is more complete and perfect, the preparation quality of the gypsum mortar is improved, the production efficiency is further improved, the production cost is reduced, the multi-angle spraying treatment effect on substances which are not completely dissolved and mixed in mixed liquid can be achieved in cooperation with the ventilation step, and therefore adding materials of the gypsum mortar can be completely dissolved and mixed, and the production quality of the gypsum mortar is improved.
