The invention relates to the technical field of architectural ceramics, and particularly discloses a cloth grain or wallpaper particle texture imitating glaze and application thereof. The glaze comprises basic glaze, dry particles and a suspending agent, and the basic glaze comprises, by weight, 30-35 parts of potassium feldspar; 12-17 parts by weight of calcined kaolin; 8-10 parts by weight of washed kaolin; 8-10 parts by weight of calcined talc; 3-5 parts by weight of zinc oxide; 2-5 parts by weight of alumina; 8-10 parts by weight of barium carbonate; 2-5 parts by weight of corundum; 10 to 15 parts by weight of nepheline; and 5-10 parts by weight of dolomite. According to the invention, the specific basic glaze is combined with the dry particles to be applied to the ceramic plate, so that the surface of the ceramic plate can present the specific soft fine particle texture with slight particle fluctuation of cloth or wallpaper.
