The invention provides an urban road system without traffic lights. An urban road is provided with more than one cross road, and the cross road comprises a left cross road, a right cross road, an upper longitudinal road and a lower longitudinal road; each of the left transverse road, the right transverse road, the upper longitudinal road and the lower longitudinal road is provided with a left-turn lane, a straight lane and a right-turn lane; and one of the left-turn lane and the right-turn lane is a first turning lane, and the other lane is a second turning lane. The system is characterized in that: a viaduct is arranged on the cross road, and only an upper longitudinal road first turning lane, an upper longitudinal road straight lane, a lower longitudinal road first turning lane and a lower longitudinal road straight lane pass through the viaduct; and a left cross road straight lane and a right cross road straight lane are laid on the ground at the road section of the intersection. The viaduct is designed only for the upper longitudinal road first turning lane, the upper longitudinal road straight lane, the lower longitudinal road first turning lane and the lower longitudinal road straight lane; and due to the fact that the upper longitudinal road straight lane and the lower longitudinal road straight lane are located on the same road, only one layer of viaduct is needed in combination with the design of the upper longitudinal road first turning lane and the lower longitudinal road first turning lane, and the longest length of the transverse road and the longest length of the longitudinal road can be controlled within 405 meters. The occupied area is greatly reduced, and the design problem of traditional like products is perfectly solved.
