The invention relates to the technical field of production of glass wool products, in particular to a low-corrosivity glass wool product and a preparation method thereof. The glass wool product is prepared from, by weight, 4100-4300 kg of glass fibers, 4150-4350 kg of a binder, 5-7 kg of an organic silane coupling agent, 3-5 kg of an anti-corrosion solvent, 4-6 kg of a moisture-proof emulsion, 8-12 kg of a sound insulation solution and 1000-1100 kg of clear water. The preparation method comprises the following step: S1, weighing vermiculite, an HPMA dispersing agent, a polyurethane adhesive and dioctyl phthalate, pouring the weighed materials into a mixing machine, conducting stirring at a rotating speed of 750-800 r/min to realize uniform mixing, then taking out a formed mixture, and heating the mixture to 150-200 DEG C to obtain the sound insulation solution for later use. According to the invention, both the sound insulation performance of the glass wool product be improved and the moisture resistance of glass wool can be improved.
