The invention discloses a solid polycarboxylic acid water reducer and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of concrete admixtures. The solid polycarboxylic acid water reducer comprises the following raw materials by weight: 75-200 parts of an unsaturated polyether monomer, 3.96-30.98 parts of an unsaturated carboxylic acid compound, 0.6-12.76 parts of aromatic isocyanate, 0.6-2.4 parts of an initiator, 0.08-1.6 parts of a chain transfer agent, and 0.0015-1.2 parts of a catalyst. The preparation method comprises the following steps: carrying out bulk polymerization on an unsaturated polyether monomer and an unsaturated carboxylic acid compound under the action of an initiator and a chain transfer agent to obtain a molten solid polycarboxylic acid compound, and then adding aromatic isocyanate to modify terminal hydroxyl of a molecular side chain of the solid polycarboxylic acid compound, so the rigidity of the side chain is improved, the steric hindrance effect is enhanced, and the intercalation adsorption effect of the clay on the side chain of the polycarboxylate superplasticizer is reduced; therefore, the water-reducing dispersion performance and adaptability of the solid polycarboxylate superplasticizer are improved.
本发明公开了一种固体聚羧酸减水剂及其制备方法,属于混凝土外加剂技术领域,该固体聚羧酸减水剂包括以下重量份的原料:不饱和聚醚单体75~200份、不饱和羧酸类化合物3.96~30.98份、芳香族异氰酸酯0.6~12.76份、引发剂0.6~2.4份、链转移剂0.08~1.6份和催化剂0.0015~1.2份。本发明将不饱和聚醚单体和不饱和羧酸类化合物在引发剂、链转移剂作用下,本体聚合得到熔融态固体聚羧酸化合物,再加入芳香族异氰酸酯对固体聚羧酸化合物分子侧链末端羟基进行改性,提高侧链刚性,增加空间位阻作用,减少了黏土对聚羧酸减水剂侧链的插层吸附作用,从而提高固体聚羧酸减水剂的减水分散性能和适应性。
