The invention discloses a method for installing a steel pipe truss through opening pipe fitting through a sleeve. The method comprises the following steps that S1, round pipe sleeves with the same material and the inner diameter equal to that of a to-be-installed through pipe are machined, and the length is not smaller than the sum of the designed lap joint length L1 and the cut-off length L2 of the through pipe through opening; S2, a through opening matched with the outer wall of the penetrated main pipe is formed in one end of the circular pipe sleeve; S3, the whole end of the through pipe is cut along the shortest point of a through opening of the through pipe; and S4, the round pipe sleeve is connected with the penetrated main pipe along the penetrating opening of the round pipe sleeve, the round pipe sleeve and the penetrated main pipe are welded, the position of the penetrating pipe is adjusted, the penetrating pipe and the chord pipe are welded, and finally the round pipe sleeve and the penetrating pipe are welded. According to the method, while the stress requirements of the whole steel pipe truss structure and the mounting joints are met, the problems that through opening pipe fittings cannot be directly mounted in place under the condition that the mounting sequence is limited, pipes are damaged and the like and are inconvenient to mount are solved.
