ZIRCONIA SINTERED COMPACT HAVING HIGH LINEAR LIGHT TRANSMITTANCE
The present invention provides: a zirconia sintered compact that exhibits both excellent strength and translucency, as well as excellent linear light transmittance, without using an HIP apparatus; and a zirconia molded body and a zirconia provisionally sintered body with which such a zirconia sintered compact can be achieved. The present invention relates to a zirconia molded body comprising zirconia particles, which contain 2.0-9.0 mol% of yttria and have an average primary particle size of 60 nm or less and in which the amount of particles having a size greater than 100 nm is 0.5 mass% or less, wherein the [delta]L*(W-B) value of the molded body is 5 or more at a thickness of 1.5 mm. The present invention also relates to a zirconia provisionally sintered body containing 2.0-9.0 mol% of yttria, and having a [delta]L*(W-B) value of 5 or more at a thickness of 1.5 mm. The present invention further relates to a zirconia sintered compact containing a fluorescent agent and 2.0-9.0 mol% of yttria, and having a linear light transmittance of 1% or more at a thickness of 1.0 mm.
