The invention belongs to the field of home decoration, and particularly relates to dry type floor heating and a construction method. The dry type floor heating comprises a plurality of supporting assemblies arranged at intervals, heating and heat preservation sheet assemblies and surface decoration materials; the heating and heat preservation sheet assemblies are installed between the adjacent supporting assemblies in a matched mode; and the surface decoration materials are laid on the supporting assemblies and the heating and heat preservation sheet assemblies. According to the dry type floor heating, the thickness of a floor heating layer can be reduced from 8-10CM to about 3.5CM, and more floor heights are reserved for residents so that better living experience can be obtained; and under the condition that floor tiles of the same specification are laid in the same area, the use amount of cement yellow sand is greatly reduced, the weight of the laid floor heating is only about one eighth of that of traditional wet type laid floor heating, and the floor bearing pressure is greatly reduced.
