The early-strength type water reducing agent provided by the invention is prepared by carrying out free radical polymerization on high-activity 4-hydroxybutyl vinyl polyoxyethylene ether, acrylic acid and a self-made early-strength monomer in a low-temperature water phase under the initiation action of inorganic peroxide; the molecular structure of the early-strength type water reducing agent is inverted T-shaped; a self-made unsaturated early strength monomer simultaneously containing carboxyl, amide group and terminal amino is introduced into a main chain structure; and the early strength of the concrete is improved under the combined effect of a long side chain and an early strength functional monomer.
