The invention discloses a video monitoring system for tracking high falling objects. The video monitoring system comprises a stand column and a video probe installed on the stand column, the video probe is provided with a glass window, and the stand column is also provided with a cleaning assembly for cleaning the glass window. The cleaning assembly comprises a cleaning head arranged on the outer side of the glass window and a driving unit installed on the stand column, the driving unit comprises a water collecting tank fixedly installed on the stand column, a water outlet pipe is arranged at the bottom of the water collecting tank, the water outlet end of the water outlet pipe communicates with a driving cylinder installed on the stand column, and a rotating assembly is arranged in the driving cylinder. The rotating assembly is driven by water flow flowing out of the water outlet pipe to rotate, and the output end of the rotating assembly is in transmission connection with the cleaning head so that the cleaning head can be driven by the rotating assembly to move along the outer side surface of the glass window. When the window glass is used in rainy days, water on the window glass can be scraped off in time so that shooting of the video monitoring system can be clearer.
