The multi-layer lifting and transverse moving garage comprises a frame, a first-layer parking plate, a middle-layer parking frame, a top-layer parking frame and a movable parking plate. The top-layer parking rack is mounted at the top of the frame and comprises a lifting frame and a lifting device thereof; the middle layer parking frame comprises a transverse moving device, a lifting frame and a lifting device, wherein the lifting device is mounted on the transverse moving device and connected with the lifting frame; the lifting device can drive the lifting frame to horizontally ascend or descend; the first-layer parking plate is located on the parking space on the lower layer and provided with four supporting legs and grooves outside the four supporting legs; and the lifting frame can lift up the movable parking plate and can also descend into the groove. The garage is simpler in structure; a parking robot is used for parking and picking up vehicles, so that manpower and time are saved; and more vehicles can be parked.
