The invention relates to the technical field of mechanical transmission, and provides a door opening and closing device and an indoor robot. The door opening and closing device is used for controlling opening and closing of a bin door and comprises a profiling rail, a sliding assembly in sliding fit with the profiling track, a matching piece arranged on the sliding assembly and used for being connected with the bin door and a driving assembly in transmission connection with the matching piece; and the sliding assembly comprises a sliding piece clamped on the profiling rail, and the matching piece is connected to the sliding piece and slides synchronously with the sliding piece. According to the door opening and closing device, the sliding assembly slides on the profiling rail, so that the bin door moves more stably, and the problem that the bin door is damaged or stuck due to deformation in the moving process is solved; and meanwhile, the sliding piece is clamped on the profiling rail, so that the sliding piece moves more stably along the profiling rail, and meanwhile, the sliding assembly can be prevented from falling off.
