The invention belongs to the field of concrete, and particularly relates to an additive for ultra-large-volume concrete. According to the invention, by mass fraction, 2-5% of a water reducing type polycarboxylic acid water reducing agent stock solution is introduced to reduce the water consumption of concrete; 10%-15% of a retarding type polycarboxylic acid retarder stock solution is used for prolonging the concrete setting time; 3-5% of a carbon-water type energy release regulator is used for reducing concrete slump loss; 1%-2% of an alkali metal type-biological energy supply molecule sodium polyhydroxycarboxylate is used for improving the strength of the concrete; and 0.01%-0.02% of an amino alcohol derivative is used for preventing corrosion of steel bars in the concrete. The whole body formed by all the material components can effectively prolong the setting time of the super-large-volume concrete and reduce the hydration heat of the super-large-volume concrete in unit time.
