A straddle type track beam stepless height adjusting support comprises an upper base plate, a middle base plate, a plane friction pair, a lower base plate, a curved surface friction pair, a height adjusting stud, a wedge-shaped adjusting plate, a height adjusting cushion block and a bottom plate. A cavity is formed in the center of the lower portion of the lower base plate, the upper portion of the height adjusting stud is arranged in the cavity, a cavity is formed in the center of the upper portion of the bottom plate, the lower portion of the height adjusting stud is arranged in the cavity, and external threads matched with height adjusting threads of the bottom plate are arranged on the surface of the lower portion of the height adjusting stud. Two correspondingly arranged wedge-shaped adjusting plates and/or two correspondingly arranged height adjusting cushion blocks are arranged on the outer side of the height adjusting stud between the lower base plate and the bottom plate. By adopting a single trapezoidal thread transmission height adjusting structure and a wedge-shaped or cushion block height adjusting and pressure bearing structure, the stepless height adjusting function and the wedge-shaped or cushion block height adjusting and pressure bearing function of the support are achieved, and the defect that a thread height adjusting section structure of the support is prone to being damaged under the action of vertical loads for a long time is overcome.
