The invention discloses a connecting joint of a stiff column and a steel beam and a construction method thereof. The connecting joint of the stiff column and the steel beam comprises the steel beam, a steel rib column, reinforcing ribs and concrete, wherein the steel rib column and the steel beam are welded and fixed through brackets, and the steel rib column is provided with a grouting position; the reinforcing ribs are arranged on the steel rib column; and the concrete is injected into the peripheral wall of the steel rib column through the grouting position. According to the connecting joint of the stiff column and the steel beam and the construction method thereof, the connecting structure of the stiff column and the steel beam is improved, and the construction difficulty and the common quality problems caused by rib penetrating at the joint are overcome; the problems of complex mold sealing and slurry leakage at the joint are avoided; an outer ring plate is used for replacing column edges to be additionally provided with angle steel to support a steel bar truss floor support plate or a profiled steel sheet, and the process is simplified; and the stress performance of the joint is remarkably improved. According to the connecting joint of the stiff column and the steel beam and the construction method thereof, a civil engineering structure and steel structure construction are separated, and the penetrating construction and mutual interference at the joint are reduced to the maximum extent.
