The structure comprises a tower crane foundation and a bottom plate, wherein the tower crane foundation is used for fixing and supporting a tower crane, the bottom plate is located outside the tower crane foundation and is of a semi-surrounding structure, the bottom plate is fixedly connected with a vertical peripheral side face and an upper surface of the tower crane foundation, several first vertical connecting pieces are arranged in the tower crane foundation, one end of each first vertical connecting piece is pre-buried in the tower crane foundation, the other end of each first vertical connecting piece upwards protrudes out of an upper end face of the tower crane foundation, several grooves are formed in the bottom plate, groove bottoms of the grooves are formed in the upper surface of the tower crane foundation, and all the first vertical connecting pieces are inserted into the grooves to be fixedly connected with the tower crane. The invention provides a construction method of the tower crane foundation, wherein the tower crane foundation and bottom plate structure is involved, the tower crane foundation and the bottom plate form a whole, then a joint of the tower crane foundation and the bottom plate has a good waterproof effect, meanwhile, bearing capacity of the tower crane foundation is improved, subsequent construction can be conducted after the grooves are backfilled, the tower crane foundation does not need to be dismantled, the dismantling cost is saved, and the construction progress is accelerated.
