The invention belongs to the technical field of ecological restoration, and particularly relates to an aquatic plant ecological landscape system which mainly comprises a maintenance pool, a slope protection structure and a gabion cofferdam. The slope protection structure is arranged on the slope surface of the maintenance pool and comprises a plurality of plant-growing bags and planting soil filled in the plant-growing bags, the plant-growing bags are stacked on the slope surface from top to bottom in a step shape, aquatic plants can grow through the plant-growing bags and the planting soil, then the slope surface is protected, meanwhile, the plant-growing bags of different layers are utilized, aquatic plants with different heights can be planted to form a hierarchical improvement effect on water quality; the gabion cofferdam is arranged in the area, close to the slope surface, of the maintenance pool, and the gabion cofferdam comprises a steel bar gabion and stone fragments filled in the steel bar gabion; according to the scheme, the gravel waste is recycled, the gaps between the stone blocks are beneficial to growth of plants, microorganisms and animals, and the stability of the constructed wetland landscape is guaranteed.
