Improvement method of expansive soil
The invention discloses an expansive soil improvement method, belongs to the technical field of roadbed and pavement engineering, and aims to treat expansive soil in engineering construction in areas with extensive expansive soil distribution, reduce the damage of the expansive soil to the engineering to a range acceptable by the engineering, and improve the expansive soil improvement efficiency based on the consideration of reducing the influence on the surrounding environment and saving the cost. The physical improvement method is characterized in that sisal fibers and silty soil in the yellow flooding area are used for improving weak expansive soil, and the specific process is as follows: (1) material pretreatment: required expansive soil, silty soil and sisal fibers are selected according to the mass ratio and are respectively dried for later use, the mixing amount of the silty soil accounts for 10-50% of the total mass of the silty soil and the expansive soil, and the mixing amount of the sisal fibers accounts for 10-50% of the total mass of the silty soil and the expansive soil; the mixing amount of the sisal fibers accounts for 0.1-0.5% of the total mass of the silty soil and the expansive soil; (2) uniformly mixing the materials in the step (1) in a mixing container; and (3) carrying out stuffy material treatment on the mixture in the step (2) to obtain the product.
