Improvement method of expansive soil
The invention relates to a method for improving expansive soil. The method comprises the following steps: 1) preparation of an alkali active binder: mixing slag-flue dust, sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate, and then adding water to form slurry; and 2) preparation of the expansive soil modifier: uniformly mixing 0.4-0.6% of modified fiber and 5% of an alkali active binder with expansive soil according to the mass of the soil body, and covering the mixed soil body with a wet jute bag for 96 hours to ensure an improvement reaction in the soil body. The addition of the modified coconut fiber and the alkali activator has a good improvement effect on the free expansion rate, unconfined compressive strength, indirect tensile strength and CBR value of the expansive soil mainly because the addition of the coconut fiber and the alkali active binder enables active cementation and interface friction to be formed around a clay matrix; therefore, the stretching, bending and shrinkage cracking performance of the expansive soil can be effectively adjusted.
本发明涉及一种膨胀土的改良方法,包括如下步骤:1)碱活性粘结剂的制备:将矿渣‑烟道灰、氢氧化钠、硅酸钠混合后加水形成浆料;2)膨胀土改良剂的制备:以土体质量计,将0.4‑0.6%改性纤维及5%碱活性粘结剂与膨胀土混合均匀,再用潮湿的黄麻袋覆盖混合土体96h,以确保土体中的改良反应。本发明中改性椰壳纤维及碱活化剂的加入对膨胀土的自由膨胀率、无侧限抗压强度、间接抗拉强度以及CBR值均有良好的改良效果,这主要是因为椰壳纤维及碱活性粘结剂的加入使得粘土基质周围形成主动胶结和界面摩擦,从而有效地调节膨胀土的拉伸、弯曲和收缩开裂性能。
