The invention provides a building structure with a prefabricated cantilever plate and a construction method thereof.The building structure with the prefabricated cantilever plate comprises a building body with a steel bar structure; the prefabricated cantilever plate is arranged at the edge position of the building body, the prefabricated cantilever plate and the building body are poured into a whole through concrete, connecting steel bars are embedded in the prefabricated cantilever plate, and part of the connecting steel bars extend to the outer portion of the prefabricated cantilever plate and are fixedly connected with the steel bar structure. According to the technical scheme, the prefabricated cantilever plate is adopted, during construction, after the prefabricated cantilever plate is installed at the designated position, the prefabricated cantilever plate and the building body are connected together to form a whole through concrete pouring, and compared with conventional cast-in-place cantilever structural plate construction, due to the fact that the cantilever plate is prefabricated, the construction efficiency is improved, and the construction cost is reduced.
