Self-resetting variable friction damper
The invention discloses a self-resetting variable friction damper which comprises a limiting main plate, a fixing plate, a high-strength bolt, a cylindrical spiral compression spring, a belleville spring, a friction plate, a welding plate and the like. The damper adopts modular assembly design and is simple to mount and design. The damper is formed by connecting a cylindrical spiral compression spring and an energy consumption friction unit in series, variable friction force is achieved by milling a steel plate, the friction force can be automatically adjusted according to the reaction of the structure, the pre-pressure of the cylindrical spiral compression spring is controlled to be larger than the maximum output force of the friction unit, and the self-resetting function is achieved. Meanwhile, the damper designed by the invention is small in size, and the design of other structures of the building is not influenced. The method is suitable for bridges and building structures, and the engineering practicability is high.
