The invention discloses a self-resetting variable-friction composite collision pendulum damper which comprises a metal ball, a suspension device, a variable-friction device and a support. The metal ball is suspended in the support through a suspension device, and variable friction devices are oppositely arranged on the two sides of the metal ball respectively and installed in the support through a connecting structure. The variable friction device comprises a limiting plate vertically arranged on one side of the metal ball and an upper friction plate and a lower friction plate which are arranged at the upper end and the lower end of the limiting plate, and the upper friction plate and the lower friction plate which are arranged in the horizontal direction are connected with the limiting plate through elastic structures; high-damping rubber materials are arranged on the limiting plate, the upper friction plate and the lower friction plate; the damper has the self-resetting function and the variable friction function at the same time through the arranged variable friction device, on one hand, it is effectively guaranteed that post-earthquake residual deformation of the structure is controlled, on the other hand, the energy dissipation capacity of the damper can be improved through the collision energy dissipation process and the variable friction energy dissipation process, and effective damping of the building structure is achieved.
