The invention relates to a bridge wet joint formwork system and a construction method thereof. The bridge wet joint formwork system comprises a formwork set, a fixing piece and at least two hoisting pieces. The formwork set comprises a plurality of formworks, every two adjacent formworks are detachably connected through the corresponding fixing piece, mounting holes are formed in the formworks, the locking pieces are located at the ends of the fixing pieces, and the formworks are fixed through the locking pieces. The two hoisting pieces are located at the two ends of the formwork set respectively, each hoisting piece comprises a screw and an opening and closing piece, and the opening and closing pieces are located at the ends of the screws and can be opened and closed. The wet joint full-length formworks are spliced through the fixing pieces, and the formworks are fixed through the locking pieces, so that the formwork set can be integrally hoisted.
