The reinforced and toughened geopolymer is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 30-40 parts of zinc oxide rotary kiln tailings; 15-25 parts of an aluminum-silicon raw material; 4-8 parts of an exciting agent; 2 to 4 parts of potassium titanate whisker; 1-3 parts of sodium tripolyphosphate; 2-4 parts of fibers; 1-3 parts of a silane coupling agent; and 15-20 parts of water. The invention also provides a preparation method of the reinforced and toughened geopolymer. The geopolymer disclosed by the invention has excellent early compressive strength and early breaking strength, and the later strength is remarkably improved; the cement mortar has good toughness and volume stability, strong dry shrinkage resistance, freezing resistance and cracking resistance; the coating has the advantages of simple preparation process, good durability, long service life, good curing effect on toxic heavy metal ions and good corrosion resistance.
