The invention firstly discloses a preparation method of a composite wallboard. The preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, preparing an ALC module according to a preset specification size; s2, a pouring mold of the concrete laminate is closed, and the ALC module prepared in the step S1 is embedded in the pouring mold; s3, concrete mortar is poured into the pouring mold where the ALC module is embedded; s4, standing, curing and forming; and S5, mold removal is conducted, and the composite wallboard with the ALC layer and the concrete layer is obtained. In addition, the invention further discloses the composite wallboard prepared according to the method. The method has the advantages that the composite wallboard produced through the method fully combines the superior characteristics of an ALC wallboard and a concrete wallboard, the advantages of the ALC wallboard and the concrete wallboard are complementary, the compressive strength and the heat preservation effect of the wallboard are effectively improved, the wallboard can be conveniently and rapidly applied to fabricated buildings, the construction time is saved, the construction cost is reduced, bonding and compounding are conducted in a cast-in-place mode, and the construction efficiency is improved. The composite stability is ensured, and wallboard delamination is prevented.
