The invention relates to basalt fiber reinforced concrete and a preparation method thereof. The basalt fiber reinforced concrete is prepared from the following raw materials: cement, silica fume, fly ash, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, a water reducing agent, water and basalt fibers. Wherein the diameter of the basalt fiber is 15 microns, the length of the basalt fiber is 19 mm, the density of the basalt fiber is 2.71 g/cm < 3 >, and the tensile strength of the basalt fiber is 4500 MPa. In the invention, when the basalt fiber is applied to the concrete, the close combination of the basalt fiber and the cement matrix can effectively absorb the tensile stress of the concrete and improve the crack resistance of the concrete, so that the generation of cracks can be inhibited and reduced, and the durability and breaking strength of the concrete are improved; therefore, the serious safety problem exposed when the breaking strength of the concrete structure is insufficient is avoided.
