The invention discloses a connecting structure of a newly-built anti-flood wall and a built anti-flood wall and a construction method. The connecting structure comprises an extension section arranged at the end, close to the end connected with the newly-built anti-flood wall, of the built anti-flood wall; a deformation joint and an embedded water stop device are arranged between the extension section and the newly-built anti-flood wall; the deformation joint is filled with an elastic material to form a seal; a plurality of layers of U-shaped built anti-flood wall extension section embedded bars and newly-built anti-flood wall reinforcing bars are symmetrically arranged in the extension section and the newly-built anti-flood wall according to the deformation joints; and each built anti-flood wall extension section embedded steel bar and each newly-built anti-flood wall reinforcing bar, which are concave inwards, surround the outer side of the corresponding part of the embedded water stop device. During construction, firstly, built anti-flood wall extension section embedded steel bars are embedded into a built anti-flood wall, a reinforcement cage is bound, an embedded water stop device is embedded, after pouring of the extension section is completed, newly-built anti-flood wall reinforcing bars are arranged, a newly-built anti-flood wall is built, and finally a seal is arranged. The water stop structure is good in water stop effect and high in deformation adaptability, and structural safety is better guaranteed.
