The invention provides an adjustable externally-hung cantilever support system and an adjusting method of an externally-hung cantilever support. The adjustable externally-hung cantilever support system comprises a mounting foundation and a cantilever support. The installation foundation is fixed to the beam side face of the corresponding steel-concrete composite beam or the corresponding steel box beam, and a plurality of first through holes are formed in the installation foundation. A second through hole is formed in the cantilever support, and different first through holes are coaxially selected to be coaxial with the second through hole, so that the mounting height of the cantilever support on the corresponding steel-concrete composite beam or the corresponding steel box beam is adjusted; and the connecting piece penetrates through the first through hole and the second through hole which are coaxial to connect the mounting foundation with the cantilever support so as to fix the mounting height of the cantilever support on the corresponding steel-concrete composite beam or the steel box beam. According to the adjustable externally-hung cantilever support system, the installation height can be selected when the cantilever support is installed at high altitude, so that the height of the bamboo plywood bottom die is adjustable, meanwhile, the construction work amount of high-altitude operation can be reduced, and the working time of high-altitude operation is shortened.
