The invention relates to the field of vehicle intercepting equipment, in particular to a vehicle intercepting system which comprises a conveying device, and the conveying device comprises a conveying belt arranged on a road and a driving part used for driving the conveying belt to operate; wherein the conveyor belt is arranged on a road, and the upper side surface of the conveyor belt is in smooth transition with the surface of the road; the running direction of the upper side surface of the conveying belt is opposite to the driving direction of the intercepted vehicle, and the moving speed of the conveying belt is the same as the driving speed of the intercepted vehicle. The method and the device have the effect of reducing the caused harm while realizing the vehicle interception.
