The invention discloses bridge single-column pier steel cover beam installation equipment and method.The bridge single-column pier steel cover beam installation equipment comprises a hoisting platform (10), a through hole (13) is formed in the hoisting platform (10), the through hole (13) is in clearance fit with a column pier (60), the through hole (13) is formed between a first platform (11) and a second platform (12), and the first platform (11) and the second platform (12) are located on the two opposite sides of the column pier (60) in the width direction of a bridge floor (50) correspondingly; the end, facing the second platform (12), of the first platform (11) is connected with the end, facing the first platform (11), of the second platform (12). The first crane (20) is located on the bridge floor (50) and used for hoisting the first part (41) of the steel cover beam (40) to the first platform (11) and providing lifting power for the first platform (11); and the second crane (30) is positioned on the bridge floor (50) and is used for hoisting the second part (42) of the steel cover beam (40) on the second platform (12) and providing lifting power for the second platform (12). The problems that an existing single-column pier steel cover beam mounting and reinforcing scheme is long in construction period, large in workload and high in safety risk are solved.
