According to the machine, a high vertical sand barrier made of branches, firewood and straw is selected for rod inserting laying, the sand barrier inserting process is cyclic motion, and the two parts are controlled by a power transmission mechanism to alternately conduct different operation; every two adjacent operations form a cycle period, one time of complete sand barrier inserting work is completed, and the machine moves to the next working position, so that the sand surface is paved at equal intervals. The sand barrier laying device replaces manual sand barrier laying work, is suitable for large-area deserts, and achieves stable, efficient and automatic sand barrier laying work.
