The invention discloses a transformer substation steel structure protective fence fixing base which comprises a base body, and a vertical rod used for installing a hard fence is arranged above the base body. The side face of the base body is provided with a clamping piece which is detachable from the base body and adjustable in position relative to the base body, and the base body and the clamping piece are respectively provided with puller bolts used for fixing H-shaped steel. Through cooperation of the base body and the clamping piece, the fence base is clamped and fixed to the flange position of the lower portion of the H-shaped steel, the position, relative to the base body, of the clamping piece is adjustable, and the fence base can adapt to H-shaped steel of different specifications and sizes. Under the condition that the quality of the steel beam is not affected, the edge protection fence can be firm, reliable and high in safety. Application is flexible, influences of the length and shape of the adjacent edges are avoided, and practicability is high.
