The water surface duckweed collecting device comprises a cleaning mechanism, two material guiding devices, a material storing device and two power devices, the cleaning mechanism comprises a box body, a sealing cover plate, two floating ropes, a connecting pipe, a water pump, two round pipes and a controller, a wire is inserted into the bottom of the box body, a feeding pipe is welded to the rear side wall of the box body, and a discharging pipe is welded to the rear side wall of the box body. A U-shaped bottom plate is welded to the bottom of the box body, a sealed cavity is formed between the U-shaped bottom plate and the box body, a partition plate is welded to the rear side wall of an inner cavity of the box body, the sealing cover plate is fixed to the top of the box body through bolts, and the two round pipes penetrate through the left side wall and the right side wall of the box body correspondingly. And the two floating ropes are respectively inserted into the two circular pipes. According to the duckweed cleaning device, duckweeds intercepted by the floating rope on the water surface are cleaned in a centralized mode, so that the working intensity of workers is greatly reduced, and the duckweed cleaning efficiency can be effectively improved.
