The invention discloses an emergency flood gate and method for a gap of a water retaining railing of a flood bank. The emergency flood gate mainly comprises a flood gate, a gate frame and a lower horizontal gate chamber, the gate frame is embedded into an existing civil engineering structure, and the bottom end of the flood control door is rotatably installed on the gate frame. The flood control gate is arranged in the lower horizontal gate chamber in a horizontal state; and the flood control door is locked on the gate frame through a locking mechanism in a vertical state. The emergency flood gate for the gap of the water retaining handrail of the flood bank is easy and convenient to operate and efficient in deployment.

The invention discloses an emergency flood gate and method for a gap of a water retaining railing of a flood bank.
