The invention discloses a deck type steel tube arch bridge arch rib rapid closure method which comprises the steps that S1, a time period with the lowest and relatively constant air temperature in one day is selected, and rib plates, lining tubes and flange plates are welded in multiple arch rib sections respectively; s2, a plurality of arch rib sections are hoisted, and meanwhile, a plurality of abutting devices are arranged to abut against closure devices arranged on the arch rib sections with preset pressure, so that the closure devices enter a first state; s3, a plurality of locking devices are arranged between the flange plates of the opposite arch rib sections, so that the closure device enters a second state; and S4, the abutting device is removed, and a circular hole is formed in the geometric center of the flange plate. The method provided by the invention can realize rapid closure and high precision, and can ensure that the project is completed within 3: 00-6: 00 in the morning.
