The prefabricated steel member for the assembly type green building comprises a steel member body, first containing grooves are horizontally formed in the two sides of the steel member body, first connecting blocks are arranged in the first containing grooves, and one ends of the first connecting blocks extend out of the first containing grooves; a first containing hole is formed in one side of the first connecting block, a first sliding groove, a second sliding groove, a first connecting groove and a second connecting groove are horizontally formed in the inner wall of the first containing hole, the two ends of the connecting groove communicate with the first sliding groove and the second sliding groove correspondingly, the second connecting groove communicates with the first sliding groove, and a baffle, an elastic piece and a limiting column are arranged in the first containing hole; the steel member is provided with the first connecting block, the rotating rod, the first connecting rod and the adjusting wheel, and through mutual cooperation of the first connecting block, the rotating rod, the first connecting rod and the adjusting wheel, the steel member can be connected with other steel members without a welding mode, and meanwhile the connecting angle of the steel member and the other steel members can be adjusted.
