The invention discloses a soil matrix compaction degree monitoring device and method for an airport fabricated runway. A first vibration sensor is fixedly mounted at the front part of a road roller; a compaction degree monitoring mechanism is arranged on one side of the bottom of the road roller; the compaction degree monitoring mechanism comprises a feedback roller, a connecting frame is arranged on the upper portion of the feedback roller, a damping assembly is arranged in the connecting frame, and a first GPS measuring instrument and a second vibration sensor are detachably connected into the damping assembly; a second GPS measuring instrument is fixedly arranged on one side of the soil base. The first GPS measuring instrument is installed on the road roller, the damping assemblies are arranged on the periphery of the first GPS measuring instrument, the second vibration sensor can transmit the vibration frequency borne by the first GPS measuring instrument in real time, and accurate data transmission of the first GPS measuring instrument is guaranteed; through analysis of data of the vibration sensors at different positions and combination of GPS measurement on soil foundation height change data, the compaction degree of the soil foundation is monitored in real time, and damage to the soil foundation caused by traditional analysis is avoided.
