The invention discloses an automatic rotary system of a dynamic compactor, which comprises an automatic rotary change-over switch connected with a control system. When the automatic rotation change-over switch is turned off, the dynamic compaction machine is switched to a manual mode; when the automatic rotation change-over switch is turned on, the dynamic compaction machine is switched to an automatic rotation mode; the automatic rotation mode control method comprises the following steps: step 1, setting an automatic rotation angle in a control system; 2, operating the dynamic compactor to lift a rammer; 3, operating a rotary handle of the dynamic compactor to send a rotary signal to a control system, and enabling the control system to automatically rotate according to a set rotary angle; and 4, the rammer is operated to the construction height, and then ramming operation is conducted.
