The invention discloses a steel pipe-concrete branch pile composite pile foundation structure and a construction method thereof. The composite pile foundation structure comprises a plurality of concrete branch piles and open type steel pipes fixed in the concrete branch piles. The open type steel pipe comprises a steel pipe body, and a plurality of extruding and flaring openings are formed in the peripheral side of the side wall of the steel pipe body. The open type steel pipe can reduce the influence of the soil squeezing effect on the hole wall and the adjacent pile foundation, hole wall collapse is reduced, the applicability of the pile foundation in a soft foundation is improved, the construction efficiency is remarkably improved, damage of the soil squeezing effect to a newly formed concrete pile body is reduced, and hidden diseases of the pile foundation are avoided. According to the steel pipe-concrete branch pile composite pile foundation, the common bearing performance of the composite pile foundation and the pile forming quality of the internal rigid piles can be greatly improved, the effect of the branch piles can be better played, the application range of the branch piles can be remarkably widened, and a new technical method is provided for treatment of soft foundations.
