The invention provides an annular prestress structure for a bridge tower column, which comprises a standard tower column, an elastic connecting device, an annular telescopic stress device and a reinforced concrete support frame, and is characterized in that the elastic connecting device is arranged in a steel reinforcement framework of the standard tower column; the two ends of the elastic connecting device are connected with the circumferential telescopic stress devices arranged in the circumferential direction of the steel reinforcement framework correspondingly and are fixed in a pouring mode through the reinforced concrete supporting frame. The invention further provides a construction method for the circumferential prestress structure of the bridge tower column. The elastic connecting device is arranged in the standard tower column, concrete materials can be saved, and the pressure resistance and the shock resistance of the standard tower column are improved. The elastic connecting devices are symmetrically arranged in a staggered mode, and the bearing capacity of the standard tower column is improved. The construction method is easy to implement, through spring design simulation calculation, the feasibility is high, and the manufacturing cost is low.
