The invention relates to the technical field of pier building construction, and discloses a hollow thin-wall pier solid section bottom formwork construction method. The supporting inner edge is reserved through machining of the top end of the variable cross-section section of the hollow pier, the prefabricated cover plate can be directly placed at the top end of the hollow cross section of the pier column and serves as a bottom formwork for pouring of the solid section, an embedded part does not need to be arranged at the top end of the hollow cross section any more, and the bottom formwork of the solid section does not need to be constructed in a profile steel support erecting mode any more; and therefore, the construction steps of polishing, steel bar connection and the like are avoided, and the construction period is shortened. Therefore, no extra influence is caused on the pier column, the construction cost is reduced, the safety risk of disassembling the construction support in the later period is eliminated, and the construction period is shortened.
