The invention relates to a rolling formwork system for construction of a uniform-section thin-wall hollow pier and a construction method.The rolling formwork system is characterized in that a PVC annular conveying belt is arranged on a curled steel formwork in a sleeving mode to form a rolling module, a polytetrafluoroethylene film adheres to the surface of the curled steel formwork, and only two ends of the steel formwork are provided with end plates and bolt holes to be connected with a truss and a lifting frame; the formwork truss platform is lifted through the wedge block type jack, and the rolling modules are connected with one another to form a crawler device capable of walking along the surface of the pier column. The formwork system rolls and ascends, so that only binding steel bars and pouring concrete are left in thin-wall hollow pier column construction, and continuous operation and construction are not affected by the age of the concrete.
